How exactly would you expect them to escape or get out?. You ever see cows and that when being lead to their death. Trust me if you did you would know they kick and screem the whole way down cos they know their time is up.

It really makes no difference TBH, there are many different ways to slaughter an animal for us to eat, you will find some really ghetto ones but also clean ones where they stun the animals first to block out pain. The key part is not even if they die or not, people that give a shit need to go do voluntary work in 3rd world countries helping other humans instead of bitching about animals being killed, the key part is how sanitary the people at the slaughter houses are and how clean the facility is. Trying to use human analogy on other species that we can potentially eat makes no sense, what we should care about is how clean the process is so we don't catch shit like the mad cow disease that melts our brains in like 20 years.
