Ending a gen on a last note being a threat to other manufacturers who made an earlier transition ?
By the way, i get your point about Playstation trying to please their core audience as much as possible before making the next leap, but still, it s not so much a high note as a stabilizer of a long term degradation.
And secondly the impact of it on XBOX 720 success is pretty much unexistent. And when you consider the other things coming into play (Steam, casual audience, tablet extensions, online features, etc.) it seems like Sony should be worrying about something else entirely.
