As far as stuck-up, holier than thou fan groups go, I would say...
1. Vegans/Vegitarians
2. Die Hard Apple/Mac fans
3. Organic-only people
4. PC Gamer Master Race
I have friends in all of these groups, and they can all be very annoying when they get on their soapbox. Most people who fall into these catagories are not content to just live their life, they have to make you feel like you're wrong, evil, or inferior for not joining their ranks.
I find it's best to approach them with humor or just change the damn subject. :P
