Maybe it's because, like Nintendo, they know that it's easier to manage the heat if it comes from 1 single place rather than having 2 heat fonts.

But that makes me ask, the "china guy 1" claims that the nextbox will use 285W (probably the power brick), so the console will use about 200W. Now the same guy says that Msoft wants the CPU and GPU all in 1 APU. Does it mean that the nextbox will have a single chip that uses  ~150W?

Well an APU with HD 8900 will use a lot of power for sure... and I expect a good cooling system too because the heat will be huge too.

It's not a single chip with little things... it's a single chip with huge things... that will be huge too.

That's my huge concern.

They would need a case bigger than usual, go with something like a closed liquid cooler like the Corsair ones (or the AMD one), use some noisy Scythe Kaze fans or more than 1 of those options combined.
