It sadly is, but that's not right. Surely shootings count as terrorist acts like bombings do. I think the riots in Northern Ireland currently is terrorism, although the worst of it was in the "troubles" in the 1970's. While, the shootings in America recently or the Nowegian shooting the other year, are also terrorism, it's the same sort of thing as the suicide bombings in Baghdad, that often happen and yet it's only seemingly called terrorism if a Muslim does.
