Just finished Halo 4 last night on legendary and while the game is awesome and looked good its certainly not the best graphics in a console. I don't get why people are saying this

Some are saying that Halo 4 has the best graphics from a technical achievement stand point which doesn't neccessarily means it's the best graphically looking game.  Now, some might think that it's the best looking game, but technically and artistically are two different things.  Kudo to Halo 4 for such an award. But if every game looked like Halo 4, BORING!!!  Hey, for a brick wall in a game to look like a brick wall in reality is impressive.  But I get brick walls in real life.  I'm really enjoying the artstyle in Professor Layton and Devil Survivor on my DS and feel they are very suitable for those games which I prefer over FPS's.  So I think both of these games look bettter graphically than Halo 4 regardless of their release years.

0_o  You're thinking of games like Uncharted which have that type of scenery.

Halo 4 has sci-fi fantasy environments. Part of the reason why so many think Halo 4 is so good is because of the artstyle it has. Halo 4 looks more like this (scenery varies quite a lot)

Ummm... No.  First of all, my brick wall example was a generic example.  Second, I've seen stillshots of Halo 4 and Halo 4 in action.  So I've witnessed gameplay scenes with trees, clouds, rocks, grass, etc.  And they all look great, and I'm impress for what they are.  And third and for the record, I've only played and beaten the first Uncharted.  I've heard that Uncharted 2 is a huge graphical leap from the first, but I cannot comment because I've yet to experience it.  So, no, I wasn't referring to games like the Uncharted series, and, yes, I was referring to Halo 4 in principle.
