Did you think that Kinect would have working controls? For a fighting game? Really? They just barely work for those exercise, dance and mini game compilations they put out. THe idea that it would have worked for a game like DBZ, a fighter no less, where you NEED to have precise controls at all time is, sorry to say this laughable. If they couldnt get it to work on the Wii with an actual controller, what made you think they were going to make it work with Kinect? |
What I didn't want them to do was make a game that was full on motion control. I wanted them to use the traditional control and enhance it with Kinect in someway. I don't know, maybe its just me but I always find the idea of actually doing certain dbz moves (or some part of it) using motion control very good. I played BT3 pretty competitively with some of my friends with the Wiimote and honestly some of the gestures really did work and was fun even in a competitive environment; like how certain hand gestures true to the anime powered up your moves. I guess you could call it useless, but it was a nice feature I thought was cool that made you feel a bit more like you were playing dbz for real.
