Considering how 3DS, Vita and Wii U numbers aren't really anything to brag about, I'm not sure that new consoles are an easy answer to this problem. 3DS is doing good now, but only because it's dirt cheap. Wii U on the other hand sells half of what X-box 360 or PS3 sell. It will be a huge risk and huge expense for Sony and MS to move to next gen. The current global economy should also convince them to hold on a bit longer. |
I'l address your BS in point form:
1. Actually, the 3DS numbers are extremly good as its the best selling comsole almost every week and its the only one up year over year in sales. How is 169.00 plus tax dirt cheap? Maybe incomparsion to the Vita.
2.Here's why the PS3 and Xbox360 are out selling Wii U right now: it just lanuched and the suppply is limited and its the holidays!!! Once the new year starts the sales of the PS3 and Xbox will go back to where they were before and Wii U will out sell them.
3.They have to move to new systems becasue they tech is 8 and 7 years old and developers want to make next gen games and they need new hardware. Mircosoft doesn't need to worry about releasing new hardware because the company actually makes a profit, itsonly Sony has to worry if their new console doesn't bad in the markert.
