So, I hate Micorsoft in general because I'm not a fan of Winows 8 and the fact that it takes its cues from Apples and tablets/smartphones? I love Windows 7, how can that be? I hated Vista as well, it was simply a poor OS, memory consumption, install size (yes, Win 7 also has a ridiculous install size but HDD's are a whole lot bigger on average now), poor performance, hardware usage limitations and stability issues.
I also liked Windows XP but did not like Windows 2000. As for MS as a company; I own a 360 and I use and love Windows 7 for all my gaming purposes, that doesn't mean I have to adore everything the entire company does. All companies have their drawbacks and faults, MS is no better or worse than any of them. I don't know where people get this notion that if you own a 360, you have to defend and praise every single move by the company behind it and never question a single decision they make. Same goes for Sony and Nintendo.
Bottom line; I do not like Windows 8 and like even less then fact that MS might be forcing me to upgrade by making it practically impossible to game on Win 7 only in the near future, however, not liking Windows 8 does not equal hating Microsoft as a company.
How stupid would that be for a PC gamer, when there would be no PC gaming in its current form without MS? I figured you'd know better.

I also can't understand why anyone that understands technology and looks back at Windows Vista today would say that was a poor OS. It had some driver issues due to a fundimental change in driver security (due to crazy hacking and viruses on Windows XP) and it had a slightly higher spec requirment than the market was ready for. Anyone that likes Windows 7 has Windows Vista to thank as it did all the groundowork.
Finally if you do have Wndows 8 installed and don't like how things are, I will gladly make it work exactly like windows 7 did for you. Just give me admin remote desktop priveladges and 15 minutes... :)

Vista was a disaster because while the introduction of EVR was great, the Audio aspect worked like shit no matter what you did, it came down to the core in which they can't fix unless they rewrite the OS, which was more or less fixed in Windows 7. It was a nightmare for anybody that did a lot of media work in general and most stayed on XP but I wanted the damn EVR for 1080P hardware playback when most computers can't handle that back in the days and even Core 2's took like 50%+ CPU power to decode those in software mode. It was also extremely demanding in the memory aspect because Superfetch didn't work very well and is still disabled to this day, but a lot of consumers don't fucked with services like more tech savvy people do.
