The problem with all of these options is that it would create "the ultimate gaming device" and would eliminate competition... Which would kill the gaming industry. Competition is a very healthy thing, keeps all gaming companies on their best feet forward, instead of being satisfied with their money stash.

I voted for Nintendo and Sony because I personally like Nintendo and Sony seems to be struggling financially right now. But in reality, I think it would be way too much for Microsoft to handle. Ninsony would dominate the Japanese gaming market, would have a pretty good foothold in Europe, and do well enough in America to make Microsoft panic. Sony would get all of the crazy HD ports that Nintendo is denied, so Microsoft would have to fall back onto its first party offerings. But it won't be enough to combat against Nintendo's first party and the ports. All those ports. Also, Microsoft has no handheld. Ninsony would make the ultimate handheld and it would be pure gamer gold.
