They have started to air a new add which begins stating very clearly that WiiU is a new console and that it's the first HD console from Nintendo (they even mention a couple of times "Mario in HD").

This is a simple, but probably effective trailer. A further refinement of the first commercials. I think they learned to spell it outright for the audience.
