It's been proven that the PS3's advantage over the 360 is rather negligible. The difference you see in graphical capability is more of the result of developer skill rather than technological advantage. 

Interesting, I don't follow graphics much but I remember that when the PS3 was released it was really pushed as being the most powerful by the Sony fanbase.
