I was thinking about this myself and I disagree about this thread being flame bait. In order to expand userbase you have to appeal to everyone even if the games are less than stellar. Like the OP said it is not just about "AAA" games as some of the games I personally have would not be defined as such in blue dragon, DDR, crackdown, saints row etc yet are games I enjoyed. Not all games have to sell 500k to make a profit as they can be made cheap and just to appeal to a certain audience. So far in 2008 the 360 and Wii have had a more varied lineup then the PS3 mainly because it has just released more games. As I mentioned some will call out the crappy reviews since they may not be the usual 85%+ but you can get some good games at 70% that appeal to some people. Just saying the lack of variety of games and just plain releases compared to the Wii and 360 hurts the PS3.
