i don't mind what console or pc, how old the game is, etc.
i just want an rpg with a big world, a deep story, and lots of characters. anything is fine.
of the ones suggested, baldur's gate, dark souls and demon souls do not have any characters. xenoblade and xenosaga are going to require me to buy new consoles, so i'll have to look into the metascores. tales series and the last story.. are they really good? wrpgs like skyrim, fallout, dragon age, and mass effect, i've played already. sorry i can't identify what i've played already. there are too many.
