I think that things have finally settled down. Assassins Creed became a nice little hit and the system is selling well in the West.

I have a good feeling about the vita now. Big games on their way as well?

Not to be overly negative but how is it doing well in the west? If you look at the sales pace of the Vita sales continued to decline up to Christmas. Of course the holidays gave it a boost. But you have to ignore the holiday sales spike if you want to judge the sales trend of a console. And the Vita did not have momentum - its weekly sales dropped until the holidays kicked in. It was outsold by the Wii and the DS and those are dead systems with no new games.

So for this year sales have been really bad. It is selling slower than the Gamecube and Xbox did worldwide so it's currently on pace to sell <20m units lifetime. The real question is: how will it do next year? And I expect it to sell better in 2013. Not spectacular but 7m units should be doable, maybe 8m. So I have a - somewhat - good feeling about the Vita, too and agree with you there. Do you have a concrete prediction for 2013 sales?
