Overall, there are 120k apps available on WindowsPhone (Oct 2012). If you really need 15 different fart generators fine, but every regular user should be happy with the selection. And of course, it will grow in the future.

Yeah, and you can do 95% of what you want to do on Windows, on Linux. It's the last 5% of functionality or single missing app that will burn people.

I think there is way too much cash around app developers at the moment. When the bubble bursts (it's happening already), they will not be able to afford all those ports.
