If either Gore or Kerry would have chosen not to invade Iraq, then they would have done a better job than Bush.

We were already in Iraq in the 2004 election, and Kerry would not have been able to help it much, thusly why he was defeated much more soundly than Gore.

While we wouldnt be in Iraq if Gore was in office, I dont think he wouldve handled the aftermath of 9/11 as well as Bush did. The man who took credit for the internet and global warming, no thank you.

 First of all, Gore never said he created the internet. Media's to blame for that.

Secondly, what the hell do you mean he took credit for Global Warming. He took on a cause, and the problem gained more coverage because of him.

 And yes, I think Gore would have done a better job. He did win the popular vote.

 

What does it matter if Gore won the popular vote? Electoral votes are what this country is founded on and for good reason, it gives all states a chance to be heard, thus the United States. And just because he recieved the popular vote doesnt mean he couldve handled 9/11 better. I guarantee we would not have went into Afghanistan if he was in office, and Al Quada would still have it under its grasps. Theres a reason why the media never says anything about Afghanistan, because it is a better place now and who wants to hear the good news right?

 Not to be offensive or anything but Democratic Presidents are known recently for their lack of response in times of conflicts. Look at Clinton and Jimmy Carter. I would rather have Dubya take care of things immediately than pussy foot around.

I dont believe he actually invented the internet or global warming, but brandishing both to make ourself appeal more is idiotic. We all knew about global warming before him, but I guess a couple of polar bears can really make yourself understand right.
