Has the word "Terrorist" Completey Associated itself with the Islamic Faith

It is such a common association that Anders Brevik is the #1 response from google; even though there have been other (more recent) terrorist stories in Norway ( http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/norwegian-jihadist-terror-suspect-plotting-blow-u-s-plane-report-article-1.1105916)

Now they do, but when the that attack just happened, none of the major news channels - BBC, CNN, referred to him as a terrorist.
