2 million is possible, and 3 million if it really catches on. However, I think above 1.5 million sold is a safe (not particularly optimistic) bet.
What I'd really like to know, however, is if Fire Emblem: Awakening will break 1 million in worldwide sales. I expect at least 900K. :/
