Most annoying ever: Kid Icarus - the guys who throw eggplants
I hated being turned into an eggplant. You then had to go and get healed. often it happened that trying to pass them caused me to get turned into an eggplant like 10 times. so going back and forth the whole time.
Honorable mention: Kid Icarus - the reaper man
scares me to death to this day. never panicked so much as when he detects you and calls in his hordes
