The NEXT GEN will have already started by the time the PS3 catches the XBox 360. So it's pretty much irrelevant. The PS3 will eventually catch the XBox 360, because Sony will keep their system on the market for like 15+ years, while Microsoft will pull there after 10yrs. Knowing Sony, they will try to catch the Wii just to say then won this generation, when in fact they had lost it a long time ago. The Wii has already passed the finish line. The race was over when the Wii U launched. lol!!
