This is all the Wi´s and Nintendo´s fault

Care to explain that or are you just trolling?

It's only a joke that started years ago, when some people involved in the videogames indistry blamed Nintendo and the Wii for fragmenting the market between "hardcore" and "casuals". It was a statement so lame that it became a joke that is used to explain all the disasters that happen.

If you stay here you'll see it used in another events not related to videogames (like last year's volcano in Iceland, etc).

There'll be no more mid-range developers left to make games for Wii U at this rate.

You know, that could end being like a boomerang.

With only big publishers in the market that ignore WiiU (something that we still have to see if happens or not), there would be a lot more small companies that will work in mobile and/or download games. That, would also mean less games to buy on consoles as even the likes of EA or Activision can't produce enough games for every month of the year, so there would be less reasons to buy consoles.

That is, unless you have done your homework and have a very strong and appealing 1st party lineup and have tightened your relationship with those small devs, something that Nintendo seems to have done their with the new eShop.

Btw, if that happens (not likely), then you have to take into consideration that with less consoles there would be less games sold so even the big publishers would disappear or be forced to scale back the number of AAA and start making those mid-range games, games that would also be able to run on the WiiU, an oportunity that they will take as they will need that money.
