Wasn't Ali or someone praising THQ rebound recently in that thread?  Now they filed bankruptcy and down 73% on the day.

And one of the key things you need to know about the economy is that a reorganisation bankruptcy is not bad! THQ can reduce or eliminate debt, more easily lay off or renegotiate with employees, and in general focus on a few profitable projects and their valuable IP.

Chrysler and GM seem to be doing decent after their 2009 bankruptcies.  Chrysler lucked out with Fiat and GM seems to taking a better approach at selling cars that people actually want (not just focusing on gas guzzling SUVs and trucks).  I'd rather see failing companies file for bankruptcy than getting bailed out by the government.  I remember when US automakers (mainly GM and Chrysler) kept going back to Congress begging for more money every month or so just to keep them afloat.  I understand there can be a turnaround after bankruptcy but it seems like someone might need to buy out THQ for their IPs.
