GTA V would take advantage of the extra power, memory and storage the new 8th generation has to offer. 7th generation console technology is limited and dated. GTA series is an established early system seller: GTA III and GTA IV achieved in the 6th and 7th generations respectively. GTA IV was delayed pushed back from 2007 and ended up launching in 2008. Do not be surprised that GTA V ends up delayed until PS4 and X720 launch.
