Maybe Wil Wheaton's YouTube show "Tabletop" inspired this, but apparently NBC has an idea for a TV series based on people playing boardgames with celebrities. Here is more info:
I believe Wil Wheaton tweeted that he was interested in seeing how it goes, and is in favor of anything that promotes boardgames.
I hold out hope that maybe this will make boardgaming tip the way poker had due to stuff like this. After that, I would need retro and indie videogames to do the same, and then get my stuff to pick up. I do want my "PGA for Pacman" blast it!
