Well, the f word is considered the big daddy of swear words here in America. A lot of people would probably find it offensive...
Of course, go into the typical high school in America and you will probably hear it every few seconds... So not sure how much good censoring it does. However, I can understand why some people may not want to hear it in their home when they are watching tv.
