Deforestation, strip mining, genocide, race wars, aids, desertification, wars, animals becoming endangered, etc.

Silliest thing I've ever heard.
In order for Africa to save itself - it would need a complete hands off policy from European and (moreso nowadays) US imperialists and freedom from parastic Western finance capital. It was colonization that led to this mess and it would take foreign investment on African terms as opposed to IMF/World Bank structural adjustment programs designed to keep recipient nation's economy in the hands of Western powers.
