yes and they have those.  The people that play these games or see me play them think they either are or look awesome and usually end up buying them or buy a PS3 if they see enough.  The problem is they don't know about them.


Not every game has the same sales potential. They market God of War and Uncharted well and they sell well. I just think that you have to focus your marketing efforts on the games which have large sales potential and some games are more niche. Nintendo didn't spend anything marketing Xenoblade because it is a niche hardcore title which sold very well based on reasonable expatations. There isn't enough room out there in the industry for 40 games that are hyped and sell as well as Uncharted, Halo, Mario, Gears...  I'm happy that Sony tends to fund games for niche markets as well I just don't think they will make a Twisted Metal game a smash hit this day and age no matter how it is marketed. And I'm glad Nintendo funded games like  Xenoblade and Last Story..
