I don't see that happening with the 3DS lineup early next year; it'll just compleltely destroy Vita sales (will likely be selling below 10k again soon after Christmas, it's only just over it now). Same with NA, 20-25k a week max (on average) seems like the way to go. Of course, it could be better.

In Vita terms, Q1 2013 is the most packed release schedule it's had since it released in Japan.  14 games in 8 week with 3 more without a release date but scheduled for 'Spring' and 7 more games scheduled for 2013 that could realistically come at any time.

Some decent sized games in there too.  God Eater 2, Tales of Hearts, Phantasy Star Online, Senran Kagura and Soul Sacrifice I expect to all sell decently.  Of course, there's plenty of niche and minor stuff too but that's all that's been sustaining it in Japan so far this year anyway.

It may well dip below 10k again after Christmas (pretty likely, actually), but it'll pick up again on 24th of January and (hopefully) sustain itself until March 28th which is when Muramasa comes out (last of the Q1 games with a fixed release date).

Saying that, Vita has been pretty rocky in hardware terms even with games coming out (barely managed 10k the week of Fate/Stay and Atelier) so I just don't know anymore with this system.

Reckon it'll be lower in NA/Europe during this period though.  There's notable nothing coming out.
