It looks like holding onto this price point is not a victory for Vita, but rather a failing strategy. Since its launch 1 year and 9 months ago, every 90 days the 3DS averages sales that are equal to the entire lifetime sales of the Vita.

"It looks like holding onto this price point is not a victory for Vita, but rather a failing strategy."

that's the thing though is the consumer retail chain stop selling the PSVita through the chain yet?

until Sony gets the word that the retail chain will not carry the PSVita anymore, than it's not a failing stratagy.

The Civic Sell more unit's than the Lincoln Town Car!

but that does not take away from the point of there is still sales.

A product can have sales while continuing to fail.

"A product can have sales while continuing to fail."

I mean what's continuing to fail? 2 million per year, 3 million per year? when there is only Two main  Dedicated handheld game systems in this part of the market?

Look at it this way Nintendo even with its fantastic sales get's about 23 million a year, which is very fantastic, but on the same token is no where near the market leader in smartdevices. the point being is this market is no longer the leader anymore, its a very good size market but its main driver of the market is no longer the case even for Nintendo, and that is saying quite a bit.

the fact of the matter is more 2rd party developers are making game's for smart devices over dedicated Game handhelds now.
