Still not close to where they should be. Look at Sony, they came in and absolutely dominated right from the start but then a huge company like MS with all the money in the world can barely grab second place.

EDIT: As defined by the PS2 generation, whoever has more lifetime sales has the final say on rules and criteria over lesser sold bretherin. When PS3 takes 2nd, you can make the rules.
