Seems like a solid game if you appreciate true survival horror and understand you will die frequently. It seems reviewers and gamers these days have been conditioned to think more action shooter oriented games like RE5/6 and Left 4 Dead are "survival horror" when they are really action shooters with a horror overlay. So when a true survival horror game is relased where they are suppose to be more vulnerable and use their wits more than their weapons, they criticize it and think it inferior. I think games like Amnesia also carry the survival horror torch.
