Well if they bring a good launch lineup with a solid future library then it should be fine. I know a lot of people blame the year late but they actually had a great launch. The issue was they didnt have a good library for the first few years. I will say the year headstart helped MSFT get noticed though but a lot of that had to do with gears, halo, and a weak library at PS3's launch with a high price. If Sony prices the PS4 right with a good library then they will be fine. I wish all of three companies luck but the time between each release shouldnt effect any of them unless they screw up some how.
EDIT: I shouldnt say any time. They need to keep the release close to the NeXbox but they dont need to panic either is what I mean. They need to just focus on profits for sony at the moment rather than taking a risk on the PS4
