this gen it's quite clear for MS that it is mission accomplished. 


Mission accomplished, but Sony is continually narrowing the gap year after year. They're almost tied and the 360 profitted greatly from its head start of a year.  I know people like you don't like when we mention that head start, but during that year, the 360 sold 6M units before the PS3 was even out. Look at the gap now. That head start is steadily vanishing. The PS3 is selling at a faster pace than the 360.

Still, Microsoft achieved really well despite all this, considering the 360 is their second console, and they managed to cement their footing into the industry quite comfortably.
