1. MSFT has clearly had a clear path of multimedia for years.....In fact I find it interesting how you ignore a few things. Ninendo captured the casual market this gen, of course they have hardcore too but moving on, Sony captured the hardcore market. They tried expanding with move and failed miserably. 360 also captured the hardcore market but expanded successfuly with kinect. They're the only company of the three that hasa balance of harcore and casual fans. Yeah I'd say that is smart but ok

2. Really XBL will hurt them? lmao In reality XBL is a selling point. It has been the most successful online service since what, 2001? You're also forgetting there strategy here. Most likely this multimedia service will become a true reality with the NeXbox. It will no longer just be an online service, but a multimedia service. Everything in one box. P.S. we dont even know if XBL Online will be free or not, but even if it isnt it will certainly have the most content. Dont forget XBLA and digital content.

3. Really? I;m pretty sure both of their harcore and casual games has been successful this gen. Actually there console exclusive have beat out its competition in hardcore games, digtial games are the most successful, and lastly casual games sell well too.

4. Yes Xbox will not make a dent in Japan again. That I'll agree with but it is also not essential to win in japan. Rather just a luxury.

5. I highly doubt MSFT would make the same mistake with RROD.... Still I'll let people speculate on that but your reasons are mostly flawed.

EDIT: I want to add, I dont know who will place where next gen, I'm just saying this list is very flawed as we can not predict what they are doing. And some things you say are just blatantly wrong.
