Plus, quantum dream isnt even owned by sony. They arent going to toy around with the release date from a game made by a studio that they dont own. Unless they dont care to work with them ever again in the future.

They don't own them, but they fund their productions.

Yes, so that means if sony holds off on releasing a game they finished, the studio is still on the hook for salaries and upkeep without having the benefit of revenue from a game they made.  Do you see how that kind of behavior might sour a relationship?

The people working daily on games, get their salaries every weeks. Just like anybody else.  ¬_¬
