Everyone is spoiled with great graphics these days, really. The PS2 (to me) is still one of the greatest creations in gaming (and to many others), but look back now and the games start to show their age. As we see more and more impressive graphics, it just makes it harder for people who are obsessed with the look to go back to the old greats. It's a shame.
You want an amazingly fun game for its time? Go all the way back to Arena, the original Elder Scrolls game from 1994. 256 colour VGA graphics in all its glory!

The free download of the game. To those who like oldies, have fun!
EDIT: Ah hell, why not add this too: if you're actually looking at downloading Arena there? Might as well make it two and get the second Elder Scrolls game as well.

Unlike 3, 4 and 5, where you could only go to specific provinces, Arena and Daggerfall gave you the ability to go throughout Tamriel, to all the provinces.
