Max, I don't know how old you are but trust me. A 20 year old criminal might not have ever expected himself to break a law a year earlier.
People change. Criminals we're born as babies too.
Americans seem obsessed with this idea that the world is full of scary people and that they need alot of weapons and military spendings to protect themselves.
It's all economic.. trust me even if you are given weapons it's not because the government gives two shits about you. It's because you will do the law enforcers work without wanting pay.
What is the primary reason there are so many guns available to criminals? because they can be bought in alot of states without any form of permit. Sure there is illegal trade but where do you think that comes from?
criminals don't make guns. Governments and corporations do. next thing they do is scream all criminals have guns so you should get one and the American public is pissing itself in fear and demanding free and open gun laws in exchange.
The times in wich the constitution was made have changed... Slavery was no problem when the constitution was made so perhaps it's not so flawless after all.
