I'm fully aware that I could be 100% wrong and any consoles utilizing an APU could have a 2nd GPU... I just think its not going to happen.
The GPUs in the APUs are more than enough to produce a big difference over current gen consoles.
The APUs as they stand now are perfect for the efficiency, costs, and heat creation needed for console.
Knowing the fact that MSony will go for not only a gaming console but equally a full media / smart device setup... there is no reason to have dual GPUs. I see no financial long-term gain for them that they can't get out of a device that has just the APU.
I just don't see it happening. Heavily tweaked current A10, Sony will have and potentially even MS... I think MSs issue actually stems from them trying to force fit a bigger/newer single GPU into the A10 and that is why they are having production issues.
Again, either way I am confident we'll know within a few months.
