Using that logic, shouldn't Indiana have a higher number, or at the very least the same exact amount, of gun homicides per capita when compared to Illinois? However, Illinois ranks #7, while Indiana ranks #21. And can you explain how a state with some of the least restrictive gun laws, take for example Vermont, can have one of the lowest numbers of gun homicides per capita?
