Square has always had a HUGE amount of pride in their ability to make games with top of the line "graphics". That's why FFXIII and other certain RPG's will be PS3 exclusive or 360 exclusive (Infinite Undiscovery) HOWEVER, the Wii will most definitely see spin-offs of FFXIII etc. Square can have the best of both worlds then....the big budget draw dropper games & the low budget bread and butter games.
1. Wow people with their ability to create life like, draw dropping graphics & cut scenes on the ps3 and/or 360. Maintain their reputation as one of the most beautiful RPG creators on the planet.
2. Appeal to the larger install bases of the wii and DS and have much smaller budgets for profitability.
