Could Microsoft have paid for their chips to be made first to ensure they beat Sony to market?

is it a small company and everybody works on 1 thing? I thought these big ass companies knew how to Multitask?

Now i bet they wouldn't like if Sony just decided to go with another companies chips. They might aswell go with another company while MS and AMD(or whatever) just sit there trying to iron out these stupid ass issues.

This sh!t made me mad lol
