Erm, how can you say that when you also said this?

according to this link, valves console is a PC with little flex ability, so it's not ideal for dev. in the console market. http://www.gamrreview.com/news/89562/valve-confirms-its-making-a-home-console/
and i think valves console will likely be priced around $149-$249. $149 is wht valve should be aming for. neither platform is comp. let alone serious comp. for the big 3.

It either packs the power of a PC or costs $149-$249, achieving both things is almost impossible (unless Valve goes crazy and loses more money than Sony did with the PS3).
Nope, if they are serious, the minimum specs would include a quad core paired with an HD7870 or GTX660Ti and 4 or 8 GB of RAM for not more than $400. Lower specs than that and most of the Steam users won't bother buying it. i know nothing about this kind of stuff. don't bother explaining, as i'd still not understand lol.

2 different post, based on to different timed sources of info. if i'd have had the info in the second post. i'd have likely not made the first in its current form.
