This week, Kingdom Hearts 3D joined the growing list of 3DS million-sellers. It's the eighth title to accomplish this overall, and the second third-party title (after Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, or 3G in Japan).
Most Kingdom Hearts games released globally have achieved at least one million sales, so this is not a particularly impressive feat for the game. Depending on how well its legs carry it, the game should sell at least another 200k in its lifetime but will most likely fall short of 2 million sales, a mark only the two main console games in the series have surpassed. A safe bet for Dream Drop Distance is between 1.4 and 1.7 million lifetime sales, just shy of the ~1.85 million sold by three other portable titles in the series, but not too shabby.
