Agreed however I am not sure if new hardware alone will acheive that as tablets and mobiles are still growing. My guess is that the next gen will be a very slow starting gen (making this assumption based on the responses here from one of the threads surveys that most people like to pay around $300 for hardware) and once enough people have tablets and mobiles and are sick of them, then the gaming hardware will start to pickup sales again.
