It isn't sold out...I've no idea where people are getting that idea from. People don't care for it in the UK. It doesn't have enough exclusives to warrant spending £250 in a depression. They'd rather get a tablet or smartphone.

This is what Ive been hearing everyday from my UK connections. There is no shortage, WiiUs are on shelves.

Yep. One major reason is mass consumer confusion. Check this out:

That's right. To find the Wii U you have to go through the Wii store. One major mess up from Ninty has been that as the controller was the selling point of the last console, people think the Wii U is just an accessory, or a revamped Wii, not an entirely new console. It looks too similar and the name means nothing to joe-average. With PS2->PS3 and Xbox->Xbox 360 it's quite clear one is a new iteration of the last. Wii -> Wii U? Is that like Playstation Move? Ninty have a few big creases they need to iron out over here.

Yeah, its a horrible decision to name it WiiU, why not Super Wii, or Wii 2? What does WiiU mean? People see the GamePad and think its just a new controller for Wii. :(
