Nintendo got the lowest score of ANY company, though it looks like Japanese companies in general aren't very good.

They are probably going for the cheapest price on materials and don't care too much about conflicts in certain areas (Africa). They could probably care a little more but more people would probably care about the system price than people dying in war torn areas. People mainly like to seem to care.
