Wii Mini lacks online because not everyone “needs” the option, says Nintendo

For many consumers the loss of internet or GCN compatibility isn't a big deal. The system can certainly be enjoyed by millions without those features. The bigger problem is that price tag. If I could buy a Wii with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort for $130, why would I buy a less capable system with no games for $100?
