The 4xxx was just the original and later they came out with statements that the GPU had been enhanced or similar. As for a closer point to one specific card...nothing yet. Just 550MHz, uses newer tech like some DX11-esque stuff, and a lot of eDRAM. I'm sure we'll know something more specific by January... especially now that its released in every major territory. |
So far Redwood based seems like most likely choice, if we look at die size (5550/5570) - but it might be possible they managed to squeeze Turks inside (6570). Of course, there's always crazy possibility that it's something like custom shrank RV730 to 40nm, but I'm not sure that would make any sense at all.
