Im gonna say it: gamers who don't like rivalries and competition are:

A. Just a gamer who plays games for his own pleasure. This doesn't apply to any of us because they would thereofore have no need to talk about their ideas on a forum.

B. Soccer mom. AKA "Lets all just be nice to eachother and HAVE FUN!"

Ya thats right, I just called people wimpy soccer moms. Pick a side (and follow the forum rules) or drive your kids to practise :

I don't think anyone is requesting a forum in which everyone has the same opinion, and presents that opinion in a colorless, emotionless way.

Part of the fun of this site is debating whether A is better than B, or generation X is better than generation Y.

But this isn't some tournament or battlefield where each side does battle with the other. I mean if this site is just a game to be won, what is the point? Wouldn't it be better if we spent more time learning from each other, and sharing experiences and recommendations, and not sniping at each other?
